 About the Course:

This two-day course is designed for beginners eager to learn the art of healthy  cakes. You will master the techniques of making a basic sponge and discover how to cut, layer, fill, ice, and decorate your cakes with both classic and modern icing techniques. By the end of this course, you'll be able to create a beautifully iced and decorated cake, complete with piping.

What Will You Be Learning?

DAY 1

1. Dark chocolate orange and figs

• Chocolate sponge 
• Chocolate frosting 
• Orange marmalade 
• Macerated Figs 

2. Pistachio raspberry cake

• Pistachio Cake 
• Raspberry ganache 
• Pista Ganache 

Techniques:

1. Making a basic sponge
2. Icing and piping practice
3. Cutting, layering, and filling a cake
4. Icing techniques (swirl, drop flower, shells)
5. Creating a variety of iced cakes using these techniques

DAY 2

1. Almond Caramel coffee cake

• Almond sponge 
• Coffee ganache 
• Caramel sauce 

2. Chocolate Hazelnut cake 

•  Chocolate Sponge 
• Chocolate frosting 
• Hazelnut chocolate ganache 
• Hazelnut praline 

Technique’s:

• Icing with chocolate ganache
• Icing practice time
